The Bass River Tennis Club is a membership tennis club serving the Northshore and greater Boston since 1971. We are a 10 court indoor tennis club specializing in tennis lessons, clinics, league play and a number of regularly scheduled events. As a pure tennis facility, we are able to specialize in quality instructional and team programming. I have spent a lifetime teaching tennis and building club programs. My highly trained staff and I are eager to help you fulfill your tennis needs. This website gives you an overview of the Bass River Tennis Club and the professionals you will meet while you further your love of the game of tennis. We are the club you can rely on for professional support, no matter your level of play. I am certain you will find the club’s staff to be courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. They include playing, albeit as a perennial 3.0 player, captaining inter-club teams (currently the Men's B1 team), developing Tennis-Line Sensors (www.tennislinesensors.com), watching professionals play at major tournaments, and most importantly watching my kids play club, high school, and college level tennis. Tennis is truly a lifetime sport. Our members play at all levels and all ages ranging from 4 years old to 90 years young. If you have never seen our youngest players learning the game, you are really missing something special. I believe that Mike has built the best tennis club around. This opinion is shared by the USPTA who last year selected Mike as the Facility Manager of the Year, and by the USTA New England which selected Mike as its 2010 Club Manager of the Year. I am excited to join them as part of the new ownership team at Bass River. I look forward to doing my best to continue the great work that has been done with the club over the past 40 years.
